PNS Bureau;- The Block-Level ‘Surabhi’ Festival was organized with great enthusiasm at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) and High School, Khairput, bringing together students from across the block to showcase their artistic and intellectual talents.
The event was inaugurated in the auspicious presence of the Block Education Officer (BEO), the Inspector-in-Charge (IIC), and the Headmaster of High School, Khairput, whose joint participation reflected the strong coordination between education, administration, and law enforcement in promoting holistic learning.
Welcoming the guests and participants, the Headmaster highlighted the importance of extracurricular festivals like Surabhi in nurturing confidence, creativity, and leadership among students. He described the platform as a vital part of education that helps shape students’ personalities beyond academics.
Addressing the gathering, the BEO lauded the students’ zeal and participation, emphasizing that Surabhi is not merely a competition but a celebration of childhood and creativity. He encouraged students to balance academics with artistic and cultural pursuits, describing these as key to all-round development.
The IIC, in his brief remarks, urged students to focus on moral values and social responsibility, assuring continued cooperation from the local administration in initiatives that strengthen youth and community development.
